Captnjones REED has only one life to live, and so he has chosen the way of Freedom, Music & Adventure. Although his musical roots are in Acoustic Folk, he excels at exploring the flavours and complementarity of different styles. A carefree idealist, REED, believes in fun and spontaneity, but also in higher things, like the betterment of mankind and the world, through an attitude of peace, compassion, cooperation and levity. Over and Over, his first release, reflects a turmoiled and darker phase of life, where he reveals an intimate side of his universe. An upcoming album, said to be released in the fall of 2021, will shed a different light on his evolving musical direction, blending Country-Folk, World-Beat & Pop, REED delves in thrilling grooves and emancipating lyrics with his unique folk spice.
